Our Podcast Has Arrived! Let’s Talk Drugs!
|Our new podcast has arrived! We’ve finally joined the Distraction Pieces Network and are ready to talk drugs! Here’s Stop and Search, the first episode – and it’s a good one. Have a listen:
Joining us to dissect drug policy is:
- Robin Ince – Comedian and broadcaster.
- Dr Suzi Gage – Guardian Science blogger and fellow podcaster under the Distraction Pieces Network.
- Simon Oxenham – Simon writes for the New Scientist and is better known as Neurobonkers.
This first show is called ‘Weird Science‘ – you can perhaps guess what we’ll be talking about…
We want to take you behind the scenes and give you access to the conversations that we get to have behind closed doors. It’s important to us at LEAP UK to give you an open-door policy within our travels in drug policy reform.
So here we go! Please do have a listen, rate us on iTunes, download and subscribe – and just generally be part of this!
Our next live show will be on July 12th with a special friend of LEAP UK. Stay tuned for details.
We also have to thank our network boss Scroobius Pip for such a great opportunity to present a new dimension of drug policy reform dialogue, along with Acast, we hope we can give you some interesting and entertaining discussions.
Onwards to chat!
Loved it! Laugh out loud, informative, sensible and intellectually stimulating.
Very refreshing to hear frank open discussions around our failed drug policies. It’s never been a ‘War on drugs’ , it’s a war on race/people.
I’ve just finished reading ‘Chasing the scream’ by Johann Harri, this book comes as highly recommended as prof David Nuts ‘Drugs – without the hot air’.
So much I want to say/respond to whilst listening to this podcast.
@1hr 10mins…education is only part of the equation; access to drugs without unadulterated crap in them, and knowing the dosage and information provided at time at purchase is vital.
This is the way of the future, keep up the brilliant work.
Can’t wait for the next one.
